The Rotary Club of Caulfield may be one of the smallest groups but they are the most ambitious. Their support of all things community extends to The Glen Eira Artist Society, Yvette Wroby and Kate Birrell and many others. While reading ‘Siren’s Call’, an idea was formed in the mind of one of the members – and exploded. This 2018 Exhibition is the result. So get painting, writing, photographing and thinking about what Australian football means to our communities and lives.

Tom Wills Bibliography

Johnhenry Holmes has taken an interest in Tom Wills for many years. During this time he has compiled a bibliography of items relating to Tom Wills. Paddy Grindlay – who has been our W.K. Trewick Scholar (thanks in part to Chris Bracher’s generous donation) spent a recent week compiling it in this post. (Thanks Paddy). ANZAC Day AFL Brings Mateship to Vietnam

Zoe Osborne is a journalist and photographer based in Vietnam. Her first Almanac article explains how the annual ANZAC Day AFL match in Vung Tau is inspiring true-blue mateship between Australia and Vietnam.

The match is held in acknowledgement not only of Australian troops but also of the Vietnamese, and a close community of cross-cultured AFL lovers is growing around it, bound together by footy, beers and Aussie meat pies.
