Floreat Pica Society: The scientific reason Collingwood will win the flag in 2022

Frank Taylor, thinker and philosopher, has turned to the strict rules of science and empiricism and even evidence to prove irrefutably that the Pies will win the flag in 2022.

Round 23 – Essendon v Collingwood: Pies’ annus horribilis ends with a whimper (Floreat Pica Society)

The good news is that Steve Fahey was reminded of the final round of 1987 while watching this week’s games – often considered the best round of footy in recent history. The bad news is Collingwood have inhabited a similar low rung of the ladder to that of 34 years ago…and in 2021 there were no last hurrahs, only a whimper.

Round 22 – Brisbane v Collingwood: Pies play Lions for a quarter and a half (Floreat Pica Society)

Dave Nadel witnessed some fantastic footy on the weekend…unfortunately for him and fellow Pies fans, it was played by Brisbane. Time to look forward to 2022 and a new beginning.
