Round 9 – St Kilda v Sydney: Saints wins the Pride Match finally
It’s been a while since the Saints have won the annual Pride match against the Swans and Yoshi is pleased with St Kilda’s win.
Round 7 & 8 – Saints beat SA clubs at Adelaide Oval
Double delight for Yoshi and Saints fans all over the world as they broke their Adelaide Oval hoodoo against the Crows then followed up with a smashing of the premiership fancies Port Adelaide.
Round 6 – Fremantle v St Kilda: Saints only played the first quarter
Footy was the winner for Yoshi in Japan, but not the AFL’s version as St Kilda let a big lead slip against a tough Freo side. Osaka Dingoes training helped provide solace.

Yoshi had a full weekend of footy, watching (in part) all nine games! The pick of the bunch was of course his Saints big time win over the Bulldogs, to which he paid very careful attention.
Round 2 – Geelong v Hawthorn: Jeff Kennett seems to establish second curse
Yoshi reports from Japan of Geelong’s excellent Round 2 win over Hawthorn at GMHBA Stadium. He gave his votes to an ex-Saint!
St Kilda Friday – 123rd anniversary of the first VFL/AFL match and fighting COVID-19 threats
Yoshi’s passion for the Saints is well known; his club has launched an initiative to boost that same passion that thousands of Sainters share with a pledge to the club and all it has provided over the years – an initiative he could easily take part in from Japan online.
