About Almanac Admin

I’d like to thank the Footy Almanac for giving writers such as myself the opportunity to promote our books.
All the very best to my fellow authors with your Xmas sales.
Thank you to The Footy Almanac for its constant support of writers – and congratulations to all my fellow authors here!
We might also add Tony Wilson’s 1989 and two by Dave Warner. His latest crime novel, Over my Dead Body and his Marlion Pickett bio, Belief.
Congrats to all Almanacers with books published this year and friends of the Almanac as well!
Congrats fellow authors- unfortunately,Covid has slowed down the arrival of my upcoming book
( I admit it’s a weird feeling of satisfaction seeing your name on the front ) my copies will hopefully arrive late,December admittedly frustratingly missing a lot of the x mas sales but that’s life
As fellow Almanacas know, I have written 11 baseball books of which 3 have been published so far. Like Malcolm, I really enjoy seeing my name on the cover of them. However numerous problems with my editor and publisher have resulted in my sending out via email to all interested parties. I’m happy to say we’re sending out numerous emails per week The most rewarding part is the fantastic feedback I’m receiving about them.
Congratulations everyone to have written or created a book.
I find that amazing.
Best wishes with your stories.
Birthday followed by Christmas coming up. Might have to send the link to a few prospectives.
Congrats to all.
I have already read of few of those listed.
Currently enjoying Nicole Kelly’s “Lament”.
Now I have three chances. Fathers Day, Anniversary of Birth Day and Christmas Day. I hope at least one comes up trumps!
Yet somehow we need to cut through into the wider history of this country. It never ceases to amaze me (love the cliche) that reputable historians of Australia still ignore sport and its significance in the national, regional and local stories. I’m just reading Joan Beaumont on the Great Depression in Australia. OK bodyline gets a mention and a pic, but that’s it for sport, despite its salience at national and local levels throughout these ghastly years. I’ll try to get my review completed soon. It is a big, dense book with lots of interesting detail.
Greatly appreciate the above being re posted I admit my main sales from my book are coming from going to pubs.TSSB – talk shit sell books is my motto
