Almanac Footy and Music: Mike Rudd saves Grand Final Weekend!

Richard Griffiths and his wife Rebecca drove down from Sydney for a cracking weekend at the Footy Almanac Grand Final Lunch, a session at The Public Bar with Dave Warner And Greg Macainsh, and Sunday with the incredible Mike Rudd in St Kilda. The one-sided Grand Final was their only fizzer!

Goodbye Bill Putt (1947 – 2013)

Bill Putt, bass player with Spectrum, Indelible Murtceps and Ariel, died on 7 August of a heart attack. A gentle giant, with a distinctive walrus moustache, Bill Putt will be forever linked with the song I’ll be Gone, Spectrum’s number one 1971 hit, written by Bill’s long-time friend Mike Rudd.
