Some years ago Lindsey Darby stumbled across a medal on her property at Yunta. One day Lindsey heard of the SANFL History centre and wondered if they could help in unravelling the story of this medal. Upon receiving the medal Christine Halbert (Manager of the SANFL History Centre) passed an image and information of the medal to two of the centre’s volunteers, Clint Giles and Nick Haines, who have had experience in solving such mysteries, and they set to work. Nick Haines tells us what happened.
