Almanac Music: Otis Redding – The King of Soul
What a tragedy to lose such a gifted artist approaching the prime of his career as happened when Otis Redding died in a plane crash in 1967. Col was reminded of this great artist, ‘the King of Soul’, when he came across a clip of a performance at the Monterey Pop Festival.
