Almanac (Racing) History: A short film about racing in the Wimmera and Mallee
Last week, when I introduced Kate Burke and Think Agri, the mention of the Murtoa races prompted a response from Malcolm McKinnon. Apart from writing an excellent piece in The Tigers’ Almanac 2017, Malcolm is a film-maker who has made a number of pieces on sport (especially footy) in country Victoria.
Here’s the email I received from him:

There’s some nice Murtoa racing footage (super 8, shot by a local bloke called Peter Adler) reproduced in this little film I made many years ago with an old jockey and his horse trainer brother at Brim, up in the Mallee. Perhaps you’ll appreciate:
