Strange Rain

 

Lightning strikes the picnic races.

 

Strange rain falls on sunburnt faces.

 

A horse stampedes against the storm.

 

A mob of grinning punters swarm

 

towards the bookies in the stands…

 

who cough up coin with jealous hands.
