the high-flyer

hangs in the air ~

crescent moon




leaves turn

here and there






like Cloke’s kicking





clouds break off

the small forward

crumbs the pack




autumn mist

wiping out

the deficit

people crowd around

the exits




under heavy skies

a goal kicked

in vain
