Heart and Soul: Footy Stories by those who played the Game

 

 

 

 

At 52 years of age, Matt Zurbo is still pulling on a pair of footy boots to play another game of footy somewhere in this great land of ours, a game that he loves passionately, especially the people and the characters involved in the game.

 

He  has played over 650 games of footy, in mountains, coasts and cities across three states of Australia, many of which have been well documented on The Footy Almanac website. As well as being a prolific writer about footy,  kids books, and of life in general Matt is a fab all-round beaut bloke who loves a yarn.

 

Matt spent three years tracking down and sharing stories with the legends and characters of the game, from Rene Kink to Mark Zanotti, and everyone else in between who comprise Heart & Soul.

 

So come and join the Almanac for a great lunch, hear some terrific  yarns and tales, in very convivial surroundings and company with John Harms directing proceedings.
