Almanac Lunch: Matt Watson and the Sons of Guns

Matt Watson’s new book Sons of Guns is a look at some famous footballers and their equally famous footballing fathers.

Last Friday John Harms interviewed Matt, as well as some famous Guns and their Sons. Ray Shaw, Donald and Luke McDonald and Ken Fletcher all shared their views on football and family life.

Another terrific Almanac lunch at The North Fitzroy Arms Hotel. Make sure you get along to the next one.

  1. Congratulations Matt on your book ‘Sons of Guns’.
IT was an enthralling & entertaining read showcasing some of the Father & Sons who have made it
to the top level and how they did it.
I hadn’t known Graham Cornes was a Victorian.
    Good luck
