Thanks to the financial support of long-term members, Kevin Densley and Peter Stirk, the Almanac has created a paid part-time internship for an emerging all-rounder keen to embark on a career in writing, editing and publishing.
An interest in sport, especially Australian football, is an advantage, but is not a pre-requisite.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate, or a current post-graduate student. Involvement with the Almanac may count towards credit for a university course.
The role would also suit someone who is starting out as a freelance writer.
Work from home.
4-6 hours per week (March through to September)
Some flexibility around hours.
The intern will work closely with the editing team.
