2015 ICC World Cup Final: Call for Writers

The final of the ICC 2015 World Cup looms large.

From Keiran Deck’s audio summaries, Peter Cresswell’s Black Capped view from across the ditch, Wayne Ball going behind enemy lines at Eden Park, E.regnans combining cooking with cricket and cricket on the radio, Raj Singh’s conclusion for Virat Kohli’s failure to fire a shot to the extremely entertaining ‘it’s-not-me, it’s-you’ reflections on the tournament’s shortcomings,  we’ve been blessed with some fantastic contributions from you, our community.

New Zealand and Australia look to be playing their best cricket at the right time, so tomorrow’s final promises to be a beauty.

If the usual trans-Tasman rivalry wasn’t enough to heat this one up, there’s also four years and countless Bledisloe Cup meets worth of bragging rights at stake. In the words of Tom Greenaway; “New Zealand could be the holders of both the Rugby and Cricket World Cups simultaneously.” Australia: this situation cannot be allowed to stand. New Zealand: It’s so close you can taste it, yes?

Share your words with us, all are welcome.
