Word Association Football

How does my mind work sometimes.

I set myself the task of associating each AFL club with both an Australian and overseas musical artist.

Here’s what I came up with, with a couple of gaps for those playing along at home.

Comments

  1. Very clever Mark. I would claim “West Coast Dave” Warner and his Suburban Boys for my Eagles, but I know that he’s an East Fremantle man.

  2. Essendon – The Verve (The Drugs don’t work)

  3. Brisbane and Richmond to share Katy Perry’s (Roar – “eye of the tiger” and “louder than a lion”). I know, what the hell? Well I hear it all the time, so time to share.

  4. Luke Reynolds says

    Essendon- Split Enz (My Mistake)

Essendon- Crowded House (Everything is good for you)

    Essendon-Australian Crawl (reckless)

  5. mickey randall says

    Essendon- http://www.tism.wanker.com (the entire album)

  6. Luke Reynolds says

    Well played Mickey

  7. TMdaXJbxzzxek3Pv1X-4cfAhfE9IM6xo_2mrIZKuAcw. says

The Saints have many many titles that are inappropriate for the Saints.

  8. Mark 'Swish' Schwerdt says

I should start one of these for players

    e.g. B Fevola – (Over) Lubricated Goat
