US podcast shines spotlight on The Footy Almanac

Phil Dimitriadis and Hannah Kuhar featured recently on the US podcast, New Books in Sports, as part of the popular program’s summer series. The pair gave a US audience an insight into the evolving Junior Almanac and its importance as an outlet for budding writers. Phil also chats about the evolution of Aussie Rules sports writing (and an early love of wrestling).

    And John, I discovered this bloke’s book at, of all places, a school fete. It might be one of the cheapest books I’ve ever purchased, but one of the richest in content. So glad I gave it a glance.
