The Women’s Footy Almanac 2017 Competition Winner: Lauren Young

 

We congratulate Lauren Young for being one of the winners in the OSLsa (Our Sporting Life South Australia) competition! Photographer and writer Peter Argent was more than happy to deliver the book and the news to a deserving winner in Lauren.

 

Lauren is an 11 -year-old  playing for Plympton Bulldogs in the SANFL metro community under 14s. She also plays with West Adelaide in the SANFL competition.

 

Lauren won the association B&L medal this year with 26 votes (next best was 12 votes) . She also won the B&F in her soccer team.

 

Lauren is a superstar and one to look out for in the future whether it be in the AFLW and/or W-League! Congratulations Lauren!
