It’s Ashes time, so the next Footy Almanac/Odd Friday Lunch will be cricket-themed. Our guest is Bryce McGain, former Victorian and Australian leg-spinner.
Bryce played one Test for Australia (against South Africa). He played many times for Victoria over ten years. Since retiring as a player he has made a name for himself in cricket coaching, and general sports coaching, and has become an authoritative analyst whose voice is heard through numerous media outlets including ABC Grandstand and SEN.
He offers fresh perspectives on the game and will no doubt have some strong thoughts on the Australians’ performance in the World Cup and the First Test and on the state of the game generally.

Looking forward to it.
Roasted leg of lamb please.
I sat opposite Bryce at an FA/OF Lunch last November. A lovely, unassuming bloke, no tabs on himself, self-deprecating, insightful and still committed to the game through his coaching. He’ll be worth the fee alone! Do yourself a favour…
