The Footy Almanac Podcast – Episode 12

In this week’s Almanac Podcast, The People’s Elbow and Matty Q are joined on the couch by our special guests Jake Norton of the Wandering Eye (@JGNorton82) and Twitter’s resident footy culture vulture and comic Titus O’Reilly (@TitusOReilly).

Continuing our expansionist policy, the discussion this week goes from the final of the FIFA World Cup, to LeBron James’ return to Cleveland, to Ice Hockey in Melbourne, to Australia’s Mens Wheelchair Basketball team successfully defending their World Championship title, to wondering why Collingwood is so hated and asking out loud if Mick Malthouse has either (finally?) lost the plot, or he’s a bona fide genius.

We also pay a well-deserved tribute to the doyen of Fudtball commentators in this country; SBS’s Les Murray, not to mention Lenny and Maxy.
