Justin reminded me of Tony Shaw: the younger brother who seemed to be what they would classify now as a “list-clogger”. Seemed to always be in the seconds. Very Gangly and awkward as you so evocatively capture Damian.
Thanks Dan. Shawry certainly had an unusual running style too, but was incredibly effective by hand and by foot, despite the perennial jokes about how far he could kick.
I’ll never forget that final at VFL Park where Harry Madden had a couple of bounces and then slotted a goal from outside 50.
