Bobby lights up
the lights
eulogy over. . .
he checks his phone
for the football scores
curling them in
from here and there
crescent moon
we hit the front. . .
I turn to grandpa
who has nodded off
first win of the year. . .
the mountaintop emerges
through the trees
the silvery path
between Jamie and the moon
straight between the goals
siren sounds
the moon
sings
