Round 10 – Haiku Bob – all the attention

wrapping the stadium
in cheers and laughter
— Johnson’s mark

one wing
getting all the attention
— Bobby’s run

the kick and the roar
the arc of the Sherrin

raining goals —
the stillness
of Blues supporters

the way their eyes
light up —
the defender’s kick goes wide

still working
with the time he has left —

rustle of leaves
I file another memory
from the ‘G

Great read, thanks! And I admire the discipline of sticking to a strict form.
