Damian Callinan’s hit one man show ‘The Merger’ returns to the stage after being adapted into a multi award winning & critically acclaimed feature film. If any Almanakers want to check out the Barry Award nominated show that inspired the film in the last week of the Melbourne Comedy Festival, it’s on at the Malthouse Theatre until April 21st.

The title of this article which includes comedy, got me thinking of doing a football team where each player shares a surname with a well known comedian or actor or entertainer who played a lead role in a comedy television show.
The surname can only be used once and the surname can either be the comedians’ real surnames or their stage surnames, or their surname in the comedy television show.
Some players have been played out of position, so they could fit into the team.
