The launch last night of my memoir Siren’s Call, was as John Harms would say, magnificent.
There were lots of people from the Almanac, from the St Kilda Football Club, St Kilda Sharks Women’s VFLW, from Glen Eira Artists Society, and plenty of family and friends.
We had good drinks, canopes and lots of celebration.

Uncle Bob spinning a yarn alongside John Harms.
John Harms led us through interviews with St Kilda Shark (and AFLW Collingwoods) Brittany Bonnici, St Kilda Football Club’s Sam Gilbert and Josh Bruce and CEO Matt Finnis, the famous Uncle Bob who led my family down the St Kilda path, Michael Egan, the terrific organiser of Moorabbin Wing and Travelling Saints Facebook groups, and a few more words from me. I even forgot to mention and thank my sister Denise Hilton (before she reminded me and I saved the moment, almost) so I’ll do it again here. Thanks Denise for all your support and love!

The fabulous event was organised by Events by Danielle Brown who kept the night flowing and delicious food from Torquoise Cafe topped off the evening. John Harms was wonderful as always and I am grateful for his and Malarkey’s ongoing support.

Now for a Saints win against the Blues tomorrow afternoon for a perfect weekend.
