just another day except today
after the tragedy
the moon
cradled
minute’s silence
as if still attached
players link arms
winter gust
how quickly the game
can change
highly charged
Pendlebury cuts
right through
sharing it around until the time to kill
after the tragedy
a simple game of football
is all we needed
