Preliminary Final: Haiku Bob – losing it
catching the train
past all these churches
to the MCG
steady drizzle
gradually
we fall apart
three quarter-time huddle
even the clouds
have clouds
last quarter comeback
the crowd
losing it
final siren
I cradle my daughter –
waning crescent moon
after the defeat
my wet clothes heavy
with the defeat
season over
my mind turns
to the next life
