Graham Miller – Playing the man

Musical friend of the Almanac Dave Warner (the other one) has given us the hot tip about his mate, noted photographer and clearly a big fan of old footy cards, Graham Miller.

 

At his website titled Playing the man, Graham has personally recreated some of the most iconic examples of the famous Scanlen’s gum player cards – down to the hair, lighting, guernseys, poses and even facial expressions!

 

Below are some prime examples of Graham, ahem, “playing the man” so to speak:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As you can see, a lot of work has gone into these; we think they’re a bit of fun and well worth a look.
