Great point Peter. Haddin in particular has been uncharacteristically unsure against the short ball. Could very well be related to the tragic events in that shield game.
What are the prospects of Dan Christian making his test debut @ the G? Mitch Marsh being injured, Shane Watson currently hopelessly out classed at test level, if we want an all rounder Christian is in form.

Australia head to the MCG a two-nil series lead, and although I can see the virtue of trying out the Ashes line-up (Surely Haddin and Watson stay home?) you’d be loathe to break up a winning combination. If they’re not injured, play the same XI in Melbourne. If the series is wrapped up, wholesale change (preferably the Ashes XI) get a dress re-hearsal at the SCG
