From North Fitzroy to the stands of Sao Paulo

Anthony Perkins has been in Victoria during the COVID19 lockdown…yet he’s also been spotted basking in the Brazilian sunshine.

How?

Thanks to a family gift, the fan of one of Latin America’s biggest and most successful football clubs, Sao Paulo, has been able to take a seat in the Morumbi Stadium; albeit in cutout form.

Morumbi Stadium from above.

Football fans in 2020’s most familiar pose. Anthony Perkins is front and centre.

We’ve seen this locally for the AFL and NRL comps; the Brasileirão is yet another league to reach out to fans in a very 2020 manner.

Anthony’s extra chuffed as seated right in front of him is 1,200 gamer and legendary Sao Paulo ‘keeper, Rogerio Ceni; the second meeting for the pair (though it may be a little trickier for Ceni to sign Anthony’s jersey this time…)

Ready to silently cheer for the red, white and black!

Anthony will be watching on for a month later in the year from the edge of the penalty box.
