Magnificent news for lunch fans. VRC Handicapper Greg Carpenter has confirmed he will join us for lunch on Cup Eve at the North Fitzroy Arms. Greg is a magnificent speaker and it is fair to say he knows The Cup field better than anyone. We are extremely lucky to have him with us again.
Trainer Robbie Griffiths is also coming. No doubt he will have some stories about his successes over the last 12 months. (Some with Almanac cash on)
And Andy Gemmell, part owner of Trip to Paris (not running) will be with us from his West Ham bunker.
A reminder lunch is on Mon Oct 31 at the North Fitzroy Arms. 12.30pm for 1pm start. $50 for 3 courses and entertainment. Drinks at the bar.
