Bob Murphy’s Speech on being made a Life Member of the AFL (via Speakola)

From Tinsel Tony Wilson:

A Bob Murphy speech for his 300th game.

Bob’s father, John, was once a priest. His mum, Monica, was once a nun. John told a story on stage at The Footy Almanac? Grand Final lunch last year about the day things changed for them.

‘She came out of the door, swinging her handbag – and nothing was ever the same,’ he said.

Thank goodness they gave us Bob.
