Balcony Banter: Lynda Carroll soaks up match days at the ‘G’

Balcony Banter is the blog of the MCC Members. Lynda Carroll spends a lot of time in the MCC Library as a researcher and writer, among other things. She also loves attending Melbourne Demons matches. Today we share with you two of her recent contributions to the blog.

In the first, Saturday Musing, she tells of her experience at the Melbourne v Hawthorn game where she enjoyed being in the presence of many Melbourne past players from the 1960s and 1970s. To read that story click here.

In the second, Layering Up, she attended the Melbourne v St Kilda match on a very cool Mothers’ Day where supporters of both teams found it necessary to rug up for the occasion. To read her account of the day and the match click here.
