Back in Time: The Bombers in the `80s
Back in Time:
In the 80’s, I was teaching at Shepparton High School alongside some other Essendon fanatics.
In 1981 we decided to put our money where our mouths were, so we bought EFC membership tickets and drove down to every Essendon home game at Windy Hill . Back then , of course that was every second week.
During those years Essendon gave us the footy ride of our lives. We had devastating losses and crippling disappointments but were rewarded with the ultimate footy experience in 1984 and 85.
Oh the memories!
These pics are from an old scrap book of the 81 and 82 seasons.
