Les Currie was blown away by how impressive the Swans looked against his Dogs in Round 12. They may or may not make the finals but they can cause a lot of headaches for their rivals along the way.
AFL Round 10 – Western Bulldogs v St Kilda: When the Dogs Came Marching In
Les Currie was very happy with the Western Bulldogs getting the four points over St Kilda, despite Bob Murphy’s injury and his pet hate- one sided players.
Round 9 – Geelong v Western Bulldogs: Raining cats and dogs
Les Currie had a shocker of a Friday night with his car playing up and his Western Bulldogs losing to Geelong. All while it was raining cats and dogs.
Round 8 – West Coast v Western Bulldogs: The Big R
The home side fought off a fast-finishing Doggies outfit on Friday night in Perth. It was a night of Rs writes Les Currie.
Round 7 – Western Bulldogs v Richmond: Five two and fifth
Les Currie was able to watch the Dogs secure another close win in the comfort of his home. He is glad his partner didn’t disturb him as he is sure the result would have been vastly different if she did.
Round 6 – Carlton v Sydney: Are the Swans the new Turtles?
Les Currie brought a big headache back from Canberra, so he watched from the couch as the Blues inflicted more pain on the Swans.
Round 6 – GWS v Western Bulldogs: Prelim Re-visited
With the night markets in safe hands, Les Currie paid a visit to his Uncle Dave in Canberra and saw his Doggies take on GWS in a thriller.
Round 5 – Sydney Swans v GWS: Cross-City Derby?
Les Curries ventures to the SCG to watch the derby between the winless Swans and premiership-fancied Giants.
Round 5 – Western Bulldogs v Brisbane: The Hero’s Journey
Following a Saturday ritual, Les Currie enjoyed Murph’s 300th and a Doggie’s win.
Round 4 – North Melbourne v Western Bulldogs: Over the top with Les
Les seems to have (bike) stacks during religious festivals but shakes himself off to take in what turns out to be a tense contest for his Doggies.
Round 4 – West Coast v Sydney: Ambivalent about the Swans
The Swans are in strife and Les Currie asks: will supporters keep the faith and remain positive? And what sort of crowd will turn out for the Battle of the Bridge next week?
Round 3 – Sydney v Collingwood: Something’s in the air
Thanks to Sydney traffic Les Currie trades his Indian dinner for a pie and chips at the SCG and an entertaining game of footy
Round 3 – Fremantle v Western Bulldogs: Rebound Footy
Fremantle secured their first win of the season at the expense of the reigning premiers the Western Bulldogs.
A failing tipster’s Round 3 Report
After many upsets in previous rounds, Les suggests you may have more luck selecting winners this round by taking a deep breath, putting on a blindfold and throwing a dart at the board with the games pinned to it and hope for the best.

The flag is unfurled and Les Currie sees a game which he describes as “a pleasure to watch”.

A Dog amongst the Swans, Les Currie headed to the concourse at the SCG and watched the better team win.

Les Currie and Zuka the flying wonder dog were tipping a Doggies win, but knew Collingwood were out with something to prove.
