Joe Wilson arrives
Congratulations to Olivia and Ned Wilson on the safe arrival of Joe Wilson whose first proclamation to the world was a small cry followed by the assertion that the result of the Geelong-North game depended on the Blicavs-Goldstein contest. Small effigies of Joe are now available.
I suspect he is the first youngster to be named after the celebrated North Fitzroy Arms barfly, Wang Rovers utility, taken at 51 in the 1989 draft by the Brisbane Bears, Joe Wilson.
