AFL – Round 8
Round 8 started with a Friday night love in with the Crows expressing their appreciation of Danger and all he has done, however Geelong spoiled the party. Freo reminded us they could play football and lost again to Hawthorn, Kangaroos won against Essendon and almost didn’t Sydney almost won but didn’t against an heroic Tigers, Giants definitely won against hapless Suns, Brisbane wished they won a quarter against Collingwood. On Sunday Carlton extend their winning streak to 4 with a win against Port in another heroic struggle, Bulldogs wrestled supremacy against the Dees and well St Kilda turned up against West Coast and were promptly dealt a 103 point whacking.

What about the Giro D’talia? Stage winners & Overall Leader.
Giro was still in progress when this post was scheduled, however I see in wet conditions former ski jumper Roglic wins stage 9, Time Trial. Gianluca Brambilla managed to hang on to hold the Maglia Rosa.
