Round 7 started with a bang, Hawks tussled the Tigers for a few quarters and then kicked on, Collingwood is looking less like a team with upside unless it is upside down while traditional foe Carlton shows them how to do it, Sydney was held for a half of footy by the bombers until they found the buddy mojo and slipped away, not all is sunny on the Gold Coast and the Dees showed GC Suns what contested footy is all about. West Coast continue to lose away from home, this time to a purring Cats outfit, the Doggies played another close encounter with the Adelaide kind and came away with the choccies this time, Freo is building something but too late against the Giants in their first win in WA. Port out muscled and outscored Brisbane, giving them bragging rights in Adelaide and North were very lucky to defeat a late rampaging Saints outfit that won’t say never.
