This side is based on players since 1980 that had well known fathers but the sons are lesser known/forgotten.
I have based the team on the sons again and not the fathers as these are the players I saw play.
The criteria is based that the father must have being well known/established and the sons must have played at lest one game
Most of the followed their fathers’ clubs with Hunter, Couch, Crow in the starting 18 not playing for their fathers’ club. While Barry did not play for West Coast he is a WA legend.
Please feel free to comment I have missed and please feel free to make suggestions even if prior to 1980.

Great work!
Glenn Molloy/Graham Molloy Melbourne
Shane Bergmann/Lloyd Bergmann Melbourne
Brad Campbell/Des Campbell Melbourne
David Bourke – Richmond and North/Francis Bourke – Richmond.
The injury-plagued son managed 80-odd games but Francis played 302.
Thanks Richard I didn’t put Molloy in as thought he was not well down. Had not thought of Bergman & Campbell.
Thanks Dan my fault as probably not worded it properly as should remove lesser known and have it as forgotten. I didn’t consider David as he was known and did well for first few years. His son was on Richmond VFL list last year.
