Sorted!

The Socceroos have made it through the Final of the 2015 Asian Cup, so we at the Almanac feel that that’s worth celebrating!

Join your fellow Almanackers on Saturday evening to watch the Socceroos take out on the mighty Korean Republic (South Korea) at 7:30pm in the Imperial Hotel public bar, with kick off from Stadium Australia scheduled for 8pm.

Apart from being a great watering hole, the Imperial Hotel is a renowned pre-kick off meeting place for Melbourne A-League and EPL fans, so there will be no shortage of supporters all cheering on Ange, Tim, Mile and the Socceroos.

This is an informal gathering, so there’s no need to RSVP – unless you want to – just bring your good self down to the Imperial Hotel around the 7:30pm mark and prepare yourself for a great night of Soccer/Football.

Details for the Imperial Hotel can be found here.

Stay tuned to the Almanac as well as our Twitter and Facebook sites for updates and Go the Socceroos!

  1. Sorry I can’t be there. Twitter me a beer, and I’ll send you some bitcoin for the next round.
I really want to see Tim Cahill get a big honour at the end of his international career. I like the look of Sainsbury, Leckie and Luongo. As long as we stay aggressive, push up and take the game on – I think we can do it.
Cahill is my favourite Aussie now that Cadel is gone. Underpromises and overdelivers – unlike most ‘stars’.

  2. I will have a few in you honour PB.

Australia’s defence will need to be tighter than a fish’s proverbial to win this.

Would love to see ‘The Headmaster’ go out with some silverware too

  3. Have the races been cancelled this weekend by the RSPCA due to cruelty to dumb animals (punters)?
Or is Crio too nervous to write because he has a $10 accumulator on Bradford City, Middlesborough and the Socceroos?
