Almanac Music: The Stereo Stories Chronicle

Stereo Stories

Smokie Dawson will once again grace the stage at the Williamstown Literary Festival with The Stereo Stories Band, in a show that celebrates the songs and stories that shape our lives. Smokie’s story stems from a long piece he wrote for Almanac Music about The Beatles.

Other writers on the bill on Friday 16 June are Stereo Stories newcomers Jacinta Parsons, Angela Savage and Katherine Kovacic; and regular members of our ensemble Rijn Collins, Jock Serong, Nick Gadd and and Andy Griffiths.

Tickets are now available via the Lit Fest website.

There is just a handful of tickets left for our show in Queenscliff on Saturday 27 May, featuring guest writers Brian Nankervis, Toni Jordan, Jacinta Parsons and Katherine Kovacic. There will also be stories from band members and the show’s director Vin Maskell.

Tickets are now available via the Queenscliffe Literary Festival.

Meanwhile the website ticks over with stories, including a fine tribute to Gordon Lightfoota brave piece  from San Francisco about mental health, sexual assault and marriage, and a fleeting meeting with Elton John.
