Almanac Music: Stereo Stories at the Bendigo Writers Festival

Our first show for 2021 – our first show since 2019 – is on Saturday evening 8 May at The Capital Theatre, Bendigo, in central Victoria.

The show is part of the Bendigo Writers Festival, whose slogan/theme this year is the lively, evocative phrase, ‘Strewth!’

We’re performing a 75-minute show. Ten stories in stereo, with guest writers Jock Serong, Jenny Valentish, Carmel Bird, Michael Leach, and Brian Nankervis.

They’ll be backed by the ever-versatile Stereo Stories band: Chris, Peter, Matt, Julie, David, Martina and Laura.

More info, including ticketing details at the Bendigo Writers’ Festival website.

  1. Good luck, Vin. Hope it is a blast!

  2. Thanks comrade. Just wish I could fit some of your stories (Paul Kelly, The Church, Oz Crawl) into the set list, but I’m spoilt for choice, especially with three good local/Bendigo writers plus Mr Nankervis and Mr Serong. And only 75 minutes. Cheers.
