Almanac Documentary: ‘The Rover of Tobruk’ – Bob Quinn

Kane McKay is an ex-serviceman who has written and produced The Rover of Tobruk about the incredible life of World War Two Military Medallist, Port Adelaide Football Club legend and original Australian Football Hall of Fame inductee Bob Quinn.

Kane’s short documentary  is currently streaming on 7Plus, and will be something of interest to our Footy Almanac audience.

With all the Prison Bars furore of late, and with Port and Collingwood clashing this weekend, the film is also a timely snapshot into the history of PAFC and why its heritage is so important to the club.

The film is narrated by AFLW superstar Erin Phillips.
