Almanac Cricket: Pink Stumps Day 2016.
Here is a great cause for all social cricket lovers to become involved in.
Every year throughout summer we grab a bat and ball, and wherever we are, we brush off dusty cricket skills to have a go. And every year, people across Australia bring the magic of the Pink Test to their community with Pink Stumps Day.
Pink Stumps Day is a fun way to get family and friends together. Simply host a game of cricket, fundraise, and you will help make life for families experiencing breast cancer that little bit easier.
To get involved, register at pinkstumpsday.com.au
Once you register to hold a Pink Stumps Day, you can choose to receive a cricket kit with everything you need to pink up your game; pink stumps, wicket keeping pads, wristbands and much more! There is also a limited number of pink training cricket balls that will be included one per kit until stocks run out.
Yes we are a bit early with the notice, Pink Stumps Day is on Saturday 18 February 2017 – but you can hold yours at any time!
Over to you!
