All strength to his arm – I did note Richard Hinds made what I thought was a good point on the peril of the pedestal to which Cummins seems destined to now occupy, based on being a likeable bloke, terrific bowler (when bowlers never get picked as skipper) and inheritor of a lauded but recently tainted mantle as leader of the men’s test team.

    He doesn’t have to be the messiah, as long as he’s not a very naughty boy…
