Almanac Cricket: Fixture schedule for the Australian 2021/22 summer

It must be getting close to summer if ‘Citrus Bob’ is back on the Almanac! His introduction to the Ashes series (see here) was the voice of experience as he set out to temper the more brash expectations doing the rounds in the array of media outlets. With a considerable degree of uncertainty about ‘our’ line-up and limited red ball cricket leading into the First Test, Australia’s commentariat is hardly in any position to decry the tourists as ‘the worst English team ever to visit here’ when our own our selections are ‘fluid’ and our recent record is somewhat modest. Let’s just see how it all unfolds.

To help get you ready for the summer, here is the current schedule of Test and ODI matches for the Australian women’s and men’s teams. But be warned (given the uncertainties of the ongoing pandemic/lockdowns/travel restrictions environment), the dates, times and places shown here are subject to changes.
