We had a wonderful lunch with Cyril, Voey’s jockey, and Lynlea at the North Fitzroy Arms.
I’m happy to report that the book has been very well-received.
In fact, it has been short-listed for the prestigious Bill Whittaker Award. The winner will be announced on May 27.
It’s the story of Vo Rogue, the much-loved Queensland champion, who has been in the news recently thanks to the front-running mare Pride of Jenni who is reminding us oldies of the great Vo Rogue.
