I attended the corresponding Anson and Neil Almanac function at the North Fitzroy Arms last year. It was a really enjoyable occasion to hear two committed, intelligent and articulate men talking about the code, its characters and their experiences in it all. If you’re within cooee of Tanunda, get along to this lunch. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed.

  2. Would love to be there. Not sure how I’ll go.

  3. How I would have loved to have been able to be there, health probs make it impossible. As a Norwood Footy Club supporter since ’57, it would have been a most interesting to hear Balme talk. I must purchase a copy of his book.
