preliminary final
every seat taken
by hope
winter has gone
but the cold lingers
in our forward line
creeping shadows
not even Pendlebury
can escape
sun goes down
Jetta steals
the light
dodging, weaving
Harry ducks under
the moon
all night
looking up and seeing
the opportunity
is gone
September breeze
from out of nowhere
four unanswered goals
a cracking goal
exaggerates
the crowd
so final
the final
siren
