A Punters delight: A dead certainty!

An Almanacker punter found the following poster in his local TAB in country New South Wales. We often hear of punters claiming they have a dead certainty but what about this race! Someone had added an editorial comment to the poster! Wonder what Shane Dye thinks?

  1. A lot of blokes at Stawell have run dead over the years.

  2. I backed one each way for plenty at Morphettville one day that was 5 lengths in front at the 100m passing us in the old Derby Stand. Put its foot in a hole and broke its foreleg. Momentum carried it on 3 legs. Got beaten a neck for 3rd. Dead money. We both had to be put down after the race.

  3. Dunno about Dead Certs but i do know it’s Corowa Cup today.

Our horse Kapover isn’t running , but we’ll be on track.

If you’re not in it, you can’t win it.

    Happy Punting,

  4. Anyone living near the NSW-VIC border, or at least along parts of the Murray, should pop up to Berrigan tomorrow.

Our horse Kapover is running. No he’s not a dead cert, or even a cert but as a part owner i want to drum up some interest. Sadly Berrigan has not had TAB status since 2002 so if you’re in that neck of the woods feel free to drop him in and cheer him home.
