For the first time in many years, South Australia was represented at U15 level in the 2008 carnival held in Melbourne, so, apart from Tasmania, all states and territories took part at last.

Yes, that’s right, those urchins in the front row were all 15-ish at the time.
Last Saturday (6/6/2015), Dylan Buckley (shown above, before he trimmed down) and Rory Laird (yay SA) were on the field when Chris Judd sadly played his final game. Judd himself appeared in the 1998 AA team here.
GWS knew what they were doing when they snared the trio of Shiel, Bugg and Bruce, although Bruce has since left and is putting in some top-knot performances for the Saints. Ugle also donned the orange and charcoal briefly. Others with AFL experience include O’Brien, Talia & Yagmoor, while a few are getting a kick in the SANFL or WAFL.

Thanks Skip, he hadn’t really come under my notice until I tried to find out more about each kid.
He looks a big unit in the photo.
He’s playing well in the Bombers VFL team, so I hear, but isn’t getting a look at the big time. Will soon if they don’t pull their fingers out. Isn’t one of the 34.
